Licensed  by the government’s “Agricultural Production and Devlopment” directorate as a research organization, we strive to provide you with the best quality, open pollinatedand heirloomvarieties available.  Our seeds meet or exceed industry and regulatory standards.

Our research and development activities result in varities that deliver benefits to farmers on the agronomic and quality traits of our products. But they also benefit society at large by helping to secure health and flavor. Vegetables need to have flavor.

Rows are carefully inspected for conformity exactly to the original variety characteristics  The seed  harvested from these rows is then increased and kept as clean seed stock. Maintenance of seed stock that is true to type is essential in order to prevent off-types.

From our fields and facilities, our seed processing plants and contract producers, from the main street to our executive suite...we form a company of commitment, an agricultural enterprise devoted to thoroughly understand  every  link in the food chain.  We are dedicated to deliver innovative, value added solutions. We seek to work in close partnership with our distributors, growers and other customers throughout the food channel. We build unique customer relationships and share products, concepts and expertise with the professional horticultural production industry and supply chain.

Why we keep heirloom besides Hybrids?

For centuries, breeders have identified desirable characteristics in plants and have worked with plant crosses and selective breeding to develop increasingly superior crops.

İn the last years that organics got more and more popular, open-pollinated traditional varieties,  which being grown and selected for their desirable traits  throughout  the test of time,  regained  importance for the market.

These varieties have better flavour, are hardier and have more flexibility than hybrid  varieties. Breeders cannot manipulate complex characteristics such as flavour as easily as they can size and shape. These seeds are dynamic, that is they mutate and adapt to the local ecosystem, as opposed  to modern hybrids, which are static. On the other hand, standard, or open pollinated varieties are more or less stabilized in their characteristics. They remain fairly consistent, producing seed that will grow into plants more or less like their parent plants, though less uniform than hybrids.
